Margaret Dixon last saw her 26-year-old son, Tavar Young, on October 22. She is seeking the public's assistance in finding him.

Margaret Dixon has not seen her 26-year-old son, Tavar Young, since October 22 when he disappeared from her home in central Kingston.

Dixon said her son has a mental illness and is in need of his medication.

"I'm asking persons not to tease him or hit him when they see him," Dixon said.

This is not the first time that Young had wandered away from his home, but according to Dixon, he has never disappeared so long.

"He always returned home after a day or two. I haven't slept comfortable since he left.

SEEING DEMONS

"Days before, he told me that he was going to run away from home because he was seeing a lot of demons in the yard. Mi just really want to find him because at times like these when he is off the pills, he is going to start eat from the rubbish, and I don't want that all," she said.

She stated that persons have seen him in downtown Kingston and Bower Bank on Windward Road, wearing only his underpants.

"It really rough now that he is gone, because I like to know where all my five children are. I'm asking everyone to just look if them see him, because the household isn't complete without him. When he is on meds, he is such a peaceful child.

He used to work at a chicken factory, but since has been diagnosed with the condition he cannot work again. He also answers to the name 'Ratty' and is about 5ft, 8 inches. I just want him to come home," she said.
