Gun found on church roof

An M16 rifle was found on the roof of a church in the Rockfort area in Kingston, during an intelligence driven operation by the Kingston Eastern police earlier today.

Cops say the gun, a magazine, 148 rounds of 5.56 cartridges, and four 9mm magazines were seized on Oliver Road.

Three persons are in custody in connection with the seizure.
