Firearm and ammunition seized on August Town Road

A 17-year-old boy and two others were taken into custody following the seizure of a firearm and six rounds of ammunition at a house on August Town Road, Kingston 7 on Wednesday, December 15.

Reports from the August Town Police are that about 11:55 a.m., lawmen were on patrol when the juvenile ran into a house on seeing the police.

He was subsequently accosted and the premises searched. During the search a glock-17 pistol and the ammunition were found under a pillow; two other occupants of the house were also taken into custody.

Investigations continue.
