Westmoreland teacher killed in car crash

A 42-year-old Westmoreland teacher died over the weekend from injuries she sustained after being hit by a car along the Whitehouse main road in the parish.
She has been identified as Allison Johnson, resident of Anchor District, Whitehouse in Westmoreland.
According to the Police, Johnson was attempting to cross the roadway about 7:20 pm on Saturday, when she was hit by a white Toyota Wish motor car.
She was taken to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Investigations continue.
