Clarendon drive-by victims identified

The two persons who were shot and killed during a drive-by shooting last night in Hayes, Clarendon have been identified.

They are 16-year-old student Demaro Gibeson and 40-year-old labourer Oleander Driver, both of New Town in Haynes Phase 2.

It is reported that the two were among persons at a shop playing a game of dominoes along Hollywood Drive in the area.

It is further reported that around 8:45 a silver Toyota Axio motor car drove up and two men exited the vehicle and opened fire.

Five persons received gunshot wounds.

The gunmen then escaped.

The injured persons were assisted to the Lionel Town Hospital where two were pronounced dead.
