Delta flight to Bahamas returns to airport after bird strike

NEW YORK, Feb. 8, CMC – A Delta airlines flight that was en route to The Bahamas on Wednesday morning, from the JFK International airport , was forced to return after hitting a bird shortly after takeoff. 

According to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA),  Delta Air Lines Flight 1907 returned to the airport around 9:45 a.m. (local time).

No injuries were reported.

The FAA is investigating the incident.
