Reggae Boyz head coach names first national squad
Head coach of the Reggae Boyz, Heimir Hallgrimsson, has named his first national squad of 2023 to be used for a two game series against Trinidad which starts on Saturday in Montego Bay.
The team will be a fusion of the best of the Jamaica Premier League as well as promising overseas talent poised to make the switch to represent Jamaica in the future.
Called-up are Cavalier's Collin Anderson and Mount Pleasant's Trivante Stewart, the two top goal scorers in the Jamaica Premier League this season.
Dujuan Richards who wrapped up a trial with premier league outfit Newcastle United also gets his first senior call up.
The UK based contingent includes promising talent such as Chelsea's Omari Hutchinson, Wolves Dexter Lembikisa and Tyler Roberts and Tottenham Hotspur's Dante Harvey.
There is also a return for veteran Adrian Mariappa.
