Teen charged with murder

Eighteen-year-old Romario Ferguson, otherwise called 'JT', of Flamstead Garden and Shaw Castle in St James has been charged with the July 15 killing of a farmer in Flamstead Garden.

The St James police reported that 56-year-old Delroy Morris' body was found at his home about 11:45 p.m., lying face down on the floor in his bedroom with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at hospital.

On July 21, Ferguson reported to the police accompanied by his attorney. He was subsequently charged on Wednesday, following an interview. Ferguson awaits a date for court appearance.
