Police seize illegal firearm in Kingston

An illegal firearm and four rounds of ammunition were seized along Gold Street in Kingston on Wednesday, the police have confirmed.

It is reported that at about 11:00 a.m., a premises was searched in the area, which resulted in a Springfield nine milli-metre pistol with a magazine containing four rounds of ammunition being found.

No one was arrested in connection to the seizure.

Investigations continue.
