Vehicular collision leaves man hospitalised

A vehicular collision along the Temple Hall main road in St Andrew has left a motorcyclist hospitalised. 

The STAR understands the biker was travelling towards Kingston, while a delivery van was heading towards the direction of St Mary.

Eyewitnesses say the delivery man cut across the road in the path of the biker who was heading in the opposite direction, causing the collision.

The motorcyclist was rushed to hospital having suffered a serious head injury.

Motorists can expect delays along that usually busy corridor

This accident occurred a few meters away from the scene where five men died while also riding motorcycles earlier this year.
