Three shot, two fatally, in Steer Town

Two men were shot and killed, while a woman was shot and injured, during a shooting in Steer Town, St Ann on Tuesday night. 

The deceased have identified as Jahwardo Whitlock, 39, and 27-year-old Akerman Reid, both from Dam Head in Steer Town.

The police report that about 10:30pm, the deceased were among persons having drinks at the town centre when a car drove up to the scene.  

The occupants of the vehicle alighted with guns and opened fire on the group of persons having drinks before escaping in said vehicle. 

Checks made revealed that Whitelock, Reid and a female were all shot.

They were taken to the St Ann's Bay Hospital, where the men succumbed. 

The female is currently being treated.
