Captured on camera
A Corporate Area man who was held with money believed to have been taken from a woman's home was remanded when he appeared in the Kingston and St Andrew Parish Court on Wednesday.
Kemar Jones appeared before Senior Parish Judge Paula Blake-Powell for housebreaking and larceny but has not yet entered a plea. Allegations outlined that on August 8, the complainant securely locked her property and left for work. However, while at work, she received a notification from her home surveillance security system that an intruder was inside the home. The police were notified and the accused was apprehended shortly after, outside the premises. He was found in possession of $52,250, believed to have been taken from the complainant's home. Jones was remanded in custody and made the subject of a fingerprint order. Jones is to return to court on October 27, when the matter was set for mention.
