Cop in Grenada sent on leave following viral video
A member of the Royal Grenada Police Force (RGPF) has been sent on leave as investigations continue into the circulation of a video on social media where a man is seen being beaten.
A statement from the Office of the Commissioner of Police did not provide details of the incident, but said that the office, whom it did not name “was seen” in the video.
The statement said that the police will provide updates into the incident “in a timely manner as to the outcome of the investigation and action taken:.
In the video, a man is seen lying on the ground with his hands and feet bound, being hit on his body with what appears to be a baton.
