The Kingston Public Hospital experienced an influx of patients following today's 5.6 magnitude earthquake which rocked several sections of Jamaica.

The STAR understands persons suffering from panic and asthma attacks overwhelmed the hospital's accident and emergency department.

Some doctors were forced to treat patients on the outside.

Other emergency cases also showed up.

Visitors to the hospital were informed by personnel at the gate that only emergency cases were being dealt with at this time in light of the situation.
