‘Puss’ charged with burglary
Jerome Bailey, 28, otherwise called 'Puss' of Pillar district, Prattville, Manchester, was charged with burglary and malicious destruction of property following an incident in his community on June 9, 2022.
Reports from the police are that about 2:09 p.m., a woman was awoken by a strange noise. She made an alarm, then saw Bailey pulling his hand out her window and running away. She peered through the window and saw him making his way back to the house. The woman shouted to him, causing him to run away a second time. Checks revealed that he had used a knife to cut open the mesh of a French window to gain access to the house.
The matter was reported to the police and an investigation led to Bailey's arrest on October 26. He was charged after he was pointed out in an identification parade last Friday. His court date is being finalised.
