Police pursuing 'strong leads' in St James triple murder
Commissioner of Police, Major General Antony Anderson, says there are strong leads pointing to the identity of the perpetrators in Monday's triple murder in St James.
He was speaking at a press briefing at the Salt Spring Primary and Infant School this afternoon. He, however, would not expound on the information.
The murder continues to be at the centre of much debate locally and in the diaspora as families mourn the death of two schoolboys, aged seven and nine, who were among the victims.
The boys, who were students of the Chetwood Memorial Primary School in Montego Bay, were on their way home from school when the taxi they were travelling in was attacked.
A man by the name of Tevin Romanio Hayle was the other victim.
"We will continue to deploy persons in the various places," Anderson said.
