Three killed in North Coast Highway crash
Three persons have died from a motor vehicle accident along the North Coast Highway in the vicinity of Greenside in Trelawny today.
The victims are 31-year-old carpenter Hoydene Flemming, 21-year-old Brandon Gordon and 14-year-old Tashanti Jones, a student of the Muschett High School.
All three victims are from the Salt Marsh district.
Corporal Kirkland Crosse of the Trelawny Traffic police reported that, "Around 10:30 a.m. Flemming was driving his Toyota Wish heading in an easterly direction when it got out of control and slammed into a wall. Flemming and Gordon died on the spot. Jones was taken to the Falmouth Hospital where she was pronounced dead."
This incident brings the total number of fatal car accidents in the parish since the start of the year to 26.
