Classes at Meadowbrook high and prep suspended amid bomb threat

Classes were suspended today at Meadowbrook High and Meadowbrook Preparatory schools following reports of a bomb threat.

The Jamaica Fire Brigade (JFB) and The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) have responded to the threat.

Commander for the St Andrew North police division Deputy Superintendent Randy Sweeney told The STAR that the police are not taking the threat lightly. 

Meadowbrook High also issued a release on the emergency situation.

Parents were advised to pick up children.

Vehicular access to Meadowbrook Avenue and Randwick Drive has been restricted.
