Body with gunshot wounds found in St Catherine

The Catherine North police are seeking to ascertain the identity of a body found with gunshot wounds in bushes yesterday.

Reports say about 2:30 p.m. cops were alerted to the scene in Crawl district, Riversdale.

When they arrived the body of a man was discovered.

He was transported to the Linstead Public Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The Linstead Criminal Investigation Branch is looking into the matter.
