Deliveryman dies in motor vehicle collision in St Catherine
The life of 29-year-old Janoi Cooper was cut short when he died from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle collision in St Catherine yesterday.
Reports say that about 10:00 a.m. Cooper, who was from the Johnson Pen area, was riding his motorbike along Walks Road.
Upon reaching the vicinity of the AML service station, Cooper allegedly overtook a line of traffic and ended up on the opposite side of the road.
This led to him colliding with a Nissan Wingroad motorcar travelling in the opposite direction.
He sustained injuries and was transported to the Spanish Town Hospital where he died.
The Spanish Town Traffic Department is probing the matter.
