Man attacked by gunman while at grocery shop in St Ann

The Ocho Rios police are probing the shooting of a man by an unknown assailant while standing at a grocery shop in White River, St Ann on Sunday.

The 27-year-old mason is being treated at the St Ann's Bay Regional Hospital.

It is reported that about 6:20 p.m., he was standing beside the shop when he was attacked.

The gunman then escaped into a motor car.

The injured man was assisted to hospital for treatment.

The police have not established a motive for the gun attack.
