Decomposing body discovered along Dyke Road, Portmore

Police personnel attached to the St Catherine South division are trying to ascertain the identity of a body of a man found in bushes along Dyke Road yesterday.

The police say the body is of a dark complexion, about six feet tall, dressed in a black jogger's suit, and was barefooted.

Reports are that about 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, passers-by stumbled upon the body, which was in a state of decomposition.

The police were notified and the body was removed for an autopsy to be conducted.

The Portmore Criminal Investigation Branch is probing the matter.
