Jamaica's pair of Hansle Parchment and Orlando Bennett are through to the semi-finals of the men's 110 metres hurdles as compatriot and world leader Rasheed Broadbell failed to progress after clattering the penultimate hurdle, at the World Championships, in Budapest, Hungary, today.

Parchment in heat one was safely through after winning in 13.30 seconds, while teammate Bennett, who finished fourth in heat four, crossed the line in 13.39 and secured a non-automatic qualifying spot.

Broadbell, competing in heat three, was battling for the lead before the mishap.

United States of America's Grant Holloway is the fastest through to the semi-finals following his 13.18 seconds to win heat four.
