Clayton, Salmon miss out on 400m hurdles medal

Jamaica's duo of Rushell Clayton and Shiann Salmon missed out on medals in the final of the women's 400-metre hurdles at the ongoing Paris Olympics.

Clayton finished fifth in 52.68 seconds while teammate Salmon finished sixth in 53.29 seconds.

America's Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone in record-breaking fashion struck gold in 50.37 seconds, teammate Anna Cockrell in a personal best time of 51.87 seconds took the silver, while the Netherlands' Femke Bol secured the bronze in 52.15 seconds.
