BROMPTON ALEX, ridden by leading jockey Tevin Foster, winning the second race, The Reggae Roots Rocking Trophy, over five furlongs round at Caymanas Park on Saturday. The event was a Restricted Allowance Stakes for five-year-old and upwards.

TEVIN Foster made no mistake aboard last Saturday's banker, BROMPTON ALEX, who won by a city block, one of four winners for the title-chasing rider who blanked Raddesh Roman to go four clear in their battle atop the jockeys' standings.

BROMPTON ALEX's win marked an afternoon of fancied horses dominating Saturday's Reggae 6 on mandatory-payout day, form players encashing $25,999 for winning tickets.

Foster is aboard another banker this week, CRIMSON, who should use back class to win the second event against SIR JOHN and company at seven furlongs.

A former open-allowance campaigner, CRIMSON has settled in among $750,000 claimers, comfortably winning his last three races, dominating the pace in his last two victories.

Whereas CRIMSON has banker written all over him in the second, take no chances with the Reggae 6 opener. Roman opting to partner ROHAN KABIR, reported lame in his last two races, suggests the vet could have been called in to mend the eight-year-old, who had comfortably won his two previous races.

In addition to ROHAN KABIR, any of PRINT QUALITY, NALA'S BUSHMAN, ANGELOS and expected leader, SENSATIONAL GOLD, could turn up in unbeatable form.

No two-year-old maiden race in October should be taken for granted, making the third a no-go for those seeking a banker. DANKA, PLATINUM PRINCESS, ASCEND and BEAUTIFUL SUNSET, who galloped six furlongs in 1:15.0 and reports with a raft of equipment changes, must all be used as possibilities.

Having won a jockeys' training school race, Eric Haughton has experience, a speedy horse and the track bias on his side in the fourth aboard BEAUTIFUL MOON. Drawn widest at five furlongs straight, BEAUTIFUL MOON has every appearance of a banker.

However, the fifth and sixth events are not to be toyed with. Void of form, the fifth, division two of the jockeys' training school race, is a minefield in which debutante OKOYE WARRIOR, LADY KATGHARA, LAST HOORAH and YOU LOOK OK are all possibilities.

The sixth is even worse, three-year-olds set to become four-year-old maidens in a few months, having never finished second and/or third. Spread those bets among RAPIDA, MONSTER VIGOROUS, LADY SARSUTTA, HAVAJOY, GOLDEN LAWYER and LA VIDA.
