Can't get pregnant after abortion

Dear Pastor,

I am 20 years old. I had abortion twice. I was very wild, but I have given up that type of life. I now have a boyfriend. He helped me to get a good job. I would like to have children, so I am trying to get pregnant. The doctor who treated me for a sexual disease is trying to help me, but I changed him and went to a gynecologist. She told me that I should go on living a normal life, but I may never get pregnant again. Is that true?
