I can't seem to please him no matter what
Dear Pastor,
I am not happy. Each day, my life seems as if it is getting worse. I try my best to work things out with my boyfriend and even try to avoid men who I would normally keep as close friends, just because I want him to be happy. I have even started staying in and stopped wearing short clothing. But, no matter what I do, things seem to worsen between us. He seems tired of being with me. Can a person be tired of someone they love? Reply soon.

Dear S.W.,
What has this man done? You seem to be saying that he is ignoring you. But, is that really so? Perhaps whatever you're doing, he considers you to be nagging him. Right now, you seem to be doing things you think will please this man. He has not asked you to stop wearing short clothes, but you have stopped wearing them. I suggest that you give this relationship some time to grow. Instead of giving this man all your attention and trying to change yourself into the person you think he wants you to be, focus on improving yourself.
Spend some time socialising with other persons within your age group. Develop a social network. Get involved in activities that will focus on building your self esteem. If you are not working, try and get yourself a job and go to school in the evenings. Occupy your time in things that are positive. You are consumed by this guy. You have allowed your thoughts to be consumed by him. You are still young, stop wasting your time. If you feel that I am wrong in what I am saying and you are right, time will prove that you were wrong because he will get fed up of you and leave you.
Pastor
