I want to be a better person

Dear Pastor,

I am 18 years old and I am from St Catherine. I have made a lot of mistakes in my life, by doing things I shouldn't have done.

Sometimes I feel like there is somebody who has set me this way. I want you to heal me in the name of Jesus.

Pastor, I left my home from the age of 17. I have made people hate me by the things I said to them, but right now I am really trying to be a better person.

I will be starting college soon, and I want to do a few more CXC subjects. I would like you to help me through this. Pray for me, so that I will be successful.

I love my grandmother dearly and I don't want to let her down anymore than I have done in the past. Please pray that God will keep her, so she can smile to see my success. Thank you, Pastor.

I will endeavour to pray for you, but I can't heal you. Do your very best. I am disappointed that you believe that there might be someone who has done some type of evil to cause you to do wrong and to hinder your progress.

You should stop believing that nonsense. And if you continue to believe that someone has that power over you, it will hinder your progress.

You should ask God to bless you and to allow the Holy Spirit to lead you and to watch over you. No one can hurt a person in whom the Holy Spirit lives. Read your Bible and pray every day and God will give you the victory.
