Cheating on my broke man with his best friend

Dear Pastor,

I am 22 years old and I want to complain to you about a problem. I am living with a man.

He says that he loves me, but he has a babymother and I can see from living with this man for the last seven months that he cannot afford me. Every month he is struggling to pay the rent. I am working, but I am only receiving minimum wage. When I first met him, I loved him, but I don't love him any more. All he can do is chat big but nothing else. He watches me like a hawk. I cannot go anywhere without letting him know the destination.

I cannot go back to my parents because when I left home, my mother and I had an argument. I have to be cheating on this man with his best friend. But he does not have a clue what is going on. His best friend works at the same place where I work and we have gone to bed three times. I don't like to do it, but I have financial needs and this man is unable to meet them. I protect myself and only one girl in my workplace knows that I am fooling around with this man.

My money can only pay for a little food. This man is always saying that I am wasting my money at the hairdressing parlour and on clothes. But I have to look good. Whenever I need extra money, I have to ask my side man. He treats me better than my boyfriend, but he has his babymother. Please tell me what to do.

Make up your mind about what you want to do. You are a young girl. What you are doing now is not good.

You have made it clear that the man with whom you are living cannot support you, so you are with another man. This man will only have sex with you and help you financially, but he has to support the woman with whom he is living and their child.

If you do not stop fooling around this man who you call your side man, the man with whom you are living may find out, throw you out of the house, and take on another woman who can help him financially. So get out of this mess in which you have found yourself.
