Hotel workers trying to spread HIV

November 26, 2019

Dear Pastor,

May the Good Lord continue to be with you. People are so wicked and heartless nowadays. Would you believe that there is a man and a woman who are currently working at a guest house on the north coast who are HIV-positive? My friend told me that her boyfriend and herself went to the guest house and she gave the woman some money to make breakfast for her because check-out time is 12 p.m., and they wouldn't be leaving until that time. She said her mind told her to sneak and peep in the kitchen.

She saw the woman cutting her hand and putting blood into the food that she prepared for my friend and her boyfriend. She made herself visible at that moment and the woman started stuttering.

She began to curse so loud that the boyfriend of the woman, who is also working there, came and they admitted that they are HIV-positive. The man called my friend aside and told her that he wanted to give it to other people because his girlfriend was the one who gave it to him, and now he is stuck with it forever.

I don't know if I am wrong for writing this to you, but people are wicked and HIV people deserve to be on one side of the earth so that they don't infect others that are clean.

Dear R.C.,

You have made serious allegations about these people. And if you know that you are speaking the truth, you should have reported these folks to the police and the Ministry of Health and Wellness.

Security company confession

What you have written is rather weird. I have received letters of confession from people who have AIDS and know it, and have pledged that they are going to do their very best to spread same to as many people as possible because they claimed that they were wilfully infected by others. And in revenge, they will spread it to as many people as possible.

One woman told me that she was working with a security company and just about all the men who were working at the company had sex with her and she contracted AIDS from one of them, but she doesn't know which one. But at the time she wrote me, she didn't care which one of them passed it on to her. She was angry and she wasn't putting up any resistant to any of them, so they could get her any time they wanted to have sex. She knew she was going to die, so she was willing to take down asmany of them as possible.

This security guard also gave the names of all the officers with whom she had sex. Then after a number of hours when her letter was published in my column, one of her co-workers called me and asked me whether his name was on the list. He was scared to death if she had mentioned his name, because he too had sex with the woman.

Now, these people who work at the guest house, if indeed they are HIV positive, it does not mean that they should not at all be working there. What they should not be doing is to try to infect others. HIV cannot be spread in the way you have described it.

According to the World Health Organization, HIV cannot be transmitted by water or food. In fact, HIV does not live long outside the human body. Even if the food contained small amounts of HIV-infected blood or semen, exposure to the air, heat from cooking, and stomach acid would destroy the virus.
