My lover dreamed about us getting married

December 10, 2019

Dear Pastor,

Thank you for your time and effort in reading and answering my letter. You give genuine and fatherly advice.

My lover has informed me that over the years, he has dreamed about me. I am not a huge believer in dreams; however, I know that many people perceive them as warnings, messages, and things that may possibly occur.

My late grandmother used to have meaningful dreams that always came to reality. At one point, I was afraid of her. My lover has told me that he has had four dreams about the both of us, three of which have already come to reality.

He told me that he dreamed that we were going to live together and that he married me. I didn't take it as anything significant because nothing in life is promised.

People change, life changes, and feelings change. If it was my grandmother who had dreamed about us getting married, then I would have believed it wholeheartedly.

I am very sceptical of these things. I don't want to offend you or anyone who puts their faith in dreams or visions.

I think that if it is in God's will for me to be this man's wife and live lovingly with him, then it shall be done.

I started to look into it, though, because some of the prior dreams that he had of us actually happened and were unexplainable.

Pastor, should I take the dream to heart?

C.H.

Dear C.H.,

I do not give much credence to dreams. Some of the dreams that I experience, I laugh at them, but there are people who take dreams seriously.

I am not against anyone who does. I want to say to you that you should not put your confidence in dreams, and I will say no more at this time.

Pastor
