People harassing my family for my crimes

January 31, 2020

Dear Pastor,

I am from Arizona in the USA. This is my first time in prison, and I am always worried for the safety and struggle that my family is going through.

I have to serve 14 more years. The reason I am writing to you is I am asking if you could keep my family in your prayers. The things that put me here are having an effect on my family.

I have a two-year-old son and a four-year-old daughter, who just started to attend school.

These people who don't know me are walking up to my wife and telling her that they are going to hurt one of my children for the things that I never did.

I am also asking if you could keep me in your prayers. I am trying to go back to court for a lesser sentence which I could get. I am taking the chance to do it for my children.

D.H.

Dear D.H.,

I can assure you that I would be praying for you. You did not state what you did, but you have admitted that you are guilty of committing a crime.

I am sorry to hear that people are harassing your children and your wife. Keep praying and make sure you read your Bible. You are in prison so you have time to reflect and pray.

I hope when you leave prison, you will be a better individual.
