Girlfriend ended our relationship for no reason

February 27, 2020

Dear Pastor,

I was a regular listener to your programme but I'm living in Canada now. I'm a 45-year-old Jamaican man and my girlfriend is 30.

We have been together for years now. We were planning our wedding and our future but she just got up and ended the relationship.

Pastor, it's killing me. I'm so stressed and depressed because I love this girl to the bottom of my heart. Can I get some fatherly advice, please?

D.H.

Dear D.H.,

Allow this woman to go. It is hurting you because she wants to go. But it is better to feel the hurt now than to have her be unfaithful to you. She doesn't care for you.

You might have spent a lot of money on her, but brother, believe me, it doesn't take much for a woman to give a man 'bun'. You are a grown man. You are 45 years old.

Let this young girl go. You have done your best for her. She would meet her 'Waterloo' and you would meet a better woman.

Don't shed a tear. There is a better woman for you somewhere; just trust the good Lord.

Pastor
