Boyfriend cheated and gave me a disease
Dear Pastor,
I am 19 and my boyfriend is 23 years old. He took my virginity when I was 16. I can go to his house anytime because his parents take me as their daughter. His sisters and I have become good friends. We go out together.
One of his sisters told me that a girl in the area likes him, and I asked him about it, and he said it was true. But he also said that he doesn't like her, and he can't stop anybody from liking him. He had sex with this girl and she gave him a disease, and he passed it on to me. I am very upset with him. I don't know how to trust him anymore.
He said it was only one time he had sex with the girl. His sisters told me to give him another chance. I don't know if he deserves it. I have never cheated on him.

Dear L.F.,
Your boyfriend's sisters like you. In fact ,everybody in his family likes you. But if you insist on having sex with this young man, you have to learn to protect yourself because evidently, he is careless.
He knew that he had unprotected sex with the other girl, and he is having unprotected sex with you. He is a careless young man. He is destroying himself and putting your life in danger.
So make sure you follow the advice of your doctor, and be sure that if you plan to remain with him, make sure that he has broken up the relationship with the other girl, and never have unprotected sex with him unless both of you are married and he is clean.
Pastor
