Wondering if my husband cheated
Dear Pastor,
I hope this letter finds you in good health. I don't know how to thank you. Do you remember when I was having a problem with my mother-in-law and I wrote you a letter?
My husband could not get me pregnant, but we looked to God for strength and eventually I became pregnant.
When you replied to my letter it was on my birthday, but up to that time I still had not told him that I became pregnant. However, I told him that I was pregnant on my birthday.
To be honest, my husband always goes around with a very serious face, but since he found out I was pregnant, his countenance has changed.
As for his mother, I must say that I'm very comfortable now because she's not here. My husband is paying the rent for her at another place.
He visits her often, but my mother and one of my best friends are staying at my husband's house, and they always say that my husband and I behave like little children.
Sometimes you should see the both of us playing and running around the house. I really love my husband and, to be honest with you, I believe that he loves me endlessly.
You would like to see how my husband showered me with gifts on my birthday; I got the most expensive things.
We usually go out on my birthday to celebrate, but because of the virus we had to do a home thing.
He has always said I should tell you a big thank you on his behalf because I'm now comfortable. But I'm not really comfortable, although I didn't say anything to you.
One night, I suspected that he cheated but nothing about him has changed towards me. But that night, he came in very late and he said he had to do extra work.
I checked his phone like every day and every night, but nothing happened. He also texts in front of me and takes calls in front of me, but nothing is adding up.
The reason I suspected that he cheated was because he started wearing a different cologne, and I had on his favourite nightie and all he said was that he was tired.
He woke up early in the morning and woke me up, wanting to have sex, but I was no longer in the mood. I told him I was tired.
Everything else is going fine; it's just that night that I am worried about. Once again, thank you for your help.
God bless you and if I don't have any problems before giving birth, I'll write back to you as soon as I give birth. Keep safe, and God bless you.
A.S.
Dear A.S.,
I am glad that you have become pregnant and I thank you for letting me know. Please continue to give God thanks for what he has done for you and for your husband.
I am also glad that your husband found another place for his mother to live; she is out of your way. Make sure you visit the clinic or your doctor regularly.
Try not to accuse your husband of being unfaithful to you. I will continue to pray for you.
Pastor
