Want to marry her, but she’s got a man
Dear Pastor,
I am a regular reader of your column and I would like your advice on something. I have a female friend from schooldays.
She is 25 years old and I am 27. I really love her. She has two boys and at times I hang out with them. They are like family to me.
My friend is currently living with her children's father. Sometimes he does not treat her well. She always comes to me for advice and I always try to be there for her, because I love her and I want her to be happy. I always tell her that I want to marry her, just to give her a happy life. She makes me happy. I want to tell her to move in with me. Please give me your advice.

Dear G.L.,
This woman has not told you that she wants to leave her children's father. A woman could be living with a man and he might not be treating her well, but she doesn't intend to leave him for reasons better known to her. Unless she told you that she wants to leave her children's father, you should leave her alone.
What you should do as a friend is to encourage her to seek professional help by making an appointment for her and her man to go for counselling as soon as possible.
Pastor
