Desperately in need of money

Dear Pastor,

I pray that you are in the best of health. I am a single woman and my son attends high school. I will be praying that he is successful in all of his subjects.

I am on medication for high blood pressure and poor circulation. I work two days every week as a housekeeper. I am in need of help.

I believe a relative took a generator from our house. I reported the matter but the police have done nothing about it. They say that I did not see who took it, so they cannot arrest him.

We have been living in this house for 13 years and we have not heard from my son's father. My son is 16. We are without electricity. Some time ago a section of the house was burnt.

I have to take what I have and asked a friend to keep them in his refrigerator for me. My son also has to go to the man's house to study.

These policemen did not even go to the house and question the man. Nothing has come out of it and I need help to fix my house. Pastor, please pray for me. I would love to hear from you.

I regret hearing that someone has stolen your generator. You are alleging that it is a relative of your son's father. You cannot be sure about that. So the policemen are not wrong when they said that you did not see who took the generator away.

I believe that you are really trying with your son. I hope someone who reads your letter would be in your position to offer you a few days' work. If anyone is willing to do so, I will contact you.
