Ex-husband was a child molester
Dear Pastor,
My daughter is upset with me for something I knew nothing about, until my husband started cursing me and tried putting me out of our house.
God let him talk what he did to her when she was eight years old. I was so shocked. I telephoned her immediately and asked her why she didn't let me know.
Before she could answer me, her babyfather took the phone and said that it happened a long time ago, and if it is just now that I am talking about it. I told him my husband's mouth slipped and that is when he told me.
Pastor, I cried about this because I am not to be blamed. She should have told me. She kept saying that many bad things happened to her because of me and that she hates me.
My wicked husband is no longer with me. Can I bring the case against him? She is now 37. I found out the nasty things about him in 2014. I found out that he fooled around little children.
I feel so ashamed but God knows that I am so innocent. I didn't know he was that type of person. My daughter is now ashamed and she says that I don't love her.
Confession reached my husband and God is good to me in many ways. My husband raped his stepdaughter and got her pregnant. The boy looks just like my husband.
Word is now coming out from his babymother's family. These children kept these secrets for a long time and it bothers them and makes them very unhappy.
I have so much unhappiness in my life but I keep praying and asking God to carry me through. Life is so rough at times but God is still there for me and I know He is real.
May God guide and protect you from this virus that is going around. I will write again soon.
S.
Dear S.
As a read your letter, I am convinced that it is not too late for these young women to go through therapy. They need professional help and so do you. They were abused and this man is out there like a wild beast in human form. I believe that you should talk to a criminal lawyer for advice. In Jamaica, there is no statute of limitation when it comes to carnal abuse and rape. This means that he can still be arrested and tried for his alleged crimes.
I want to talk to you on this matter again. You may call me on 876-877-1009. I will be praying for you.
Pastor
