Love to eat ‘the forbidden fruit’

February 01, 2021

Dear Pastor,

I am 17 years old. Recently, I have been having sexual intercourse with my significant other and I am tempted to 'go down low on her', even when she has not asked me for it. She usually offers to give me back, but I always decline.

Before I met her, I was dating a woman almost twice my age. She did not allow me to penetrate her but instead she allowed me to give her oral sex. I was not doing so for pleasure and I was not comfortable with it, but every time after I did it, she gave me huge sums of money. But I have since stopped talking to her and moved on with my life. But I have found myself compelled to 'eat it'. Please give me your advice Pastor. Is oral sex, right?

M.G.

Dear M.G.,

It's amazing how times have changed. There was a time when young people your age would never ask me question on oral sex. Today, young people your age group and much younger engage in oral sex freely. Here you are as a young man having a sexual relationship with a much older woman and this woman was paying you to engage in oral sex with her. Your letter has reminded me about a woman who brought her son to discuss with me what he was doing with a married woman every week, and the mother was very scared of the woman's husband. I have commented on oral sex too many times. I am prepared to do so again.

I would rather encourage you to put your mind and heart on your education, because a good education is the way forward. A 17-year-old young man should not be so carried away with sex. Hit the books hard my friend. That is the way to go.
