My boyfriend has never bought me a gift - Said that he doesn’t believe in celebrations
Dear Pastor,
I am writing to you because I do not know how to deal with my boyfriend or how to think of him. We have been friends for three years and he has never bought me a gift.
Whether it is Easter time, Christmas or my birthday, he says that he does not believe in celebrating birthday or special days. When I first met him, I bought him a watch for Valentine's Day. He told me thanks, but said that I should not expect anything from him. I was disappointed but we still made love. This year he has not given me anything, but I know he will show up for sex. But he will be disappointed because I will not have sex with him.
I am not getting anything from this relationship. I am putting out my best, but this man is just using me. I would love to have a lovely dress but I will have to buy it with my own money or ask another man to buy it for me. I know guys who will love to have me, but I have been trying to remain faithful to this man. Don't you think it is time for me to leave this man?
L.W.
Dear L.W.,
Your boyfriend is either very cheap or he is spending his money on another women. You are not asking for much. How could a man say that he doesn't celebrate anything at all? Your birthday doesn't mean anything to him? All he wants from you is sex. This is not the man with whom you should remain. He is mean and he is also inconsiderate. There is nothing good about him. Drop him like hot bread.
Pastor
