Boyfriend got his side chick’s daughter pregnant - I gave him a taxi to drive and this is how he repays me
Dear Pastor,
This is the first time that I am writing to you, but I always read your column and listen to you on the radio. I am working but my boyfriend is not currently employed.
He used to drive taxi, but the car wasn't his. It belongs to a woman. They had a falling-out so she took back her car. I had some money, so I decided to buy a car and let him use it as a taxi. The car cost me $550,000. I could not tell anybody in my family that I spent that amount of money to buy this man a car. But I love him and that is why I did it. We were doing all right after he got the car. He would take me to work and pick me up after the workday ended. He would drop me off at home and then he would be all over the place. He could not tell me where he was. Whenever I called him he would say that he was on the job. Then I found a condom on the floor of the car. He said that he was not responsible for that.
Sometimes on weekends, I did not get any money from him from the car. He could not tell me what happened to the money that he made. I found out that during the day, he was at another woman's house instead of working. That woman could be his mother. I also heard that he got this woman's daughter pregnant. I told him that he would have to go. He said that the girl is not carrying his baby. I believe that he got her pregnant and that he is sleeping with both the mother and the daughter.
This man has left me in debt. I want back the money that I spent on him. How can I get back my money?
M.B.
Dear M.B.,
You did not give your age or the man's age. But you were willing to buy a car for him to use as a taxi. Many women who are in love with men make such investments. So you are not alone. And many of these guys, after getting the cars, use them not just to carry passengers, but to take other women around.
I am sure that this man promised that he would bring you a certain amount of money weekly from the money that he earned from the taxi business. He failed you and he acted like a fool by getting involved with this much older woman. This man had life too easy. He was not of any help to you.
You say that he has put you in debt. I suggest that you discuss this matter with an attorney-at-law who can suggest how you can get back some or all of your money.
Pastor
