I am twice as old as my ‘bunna man’

Dear Pastor,

I am living with a man but he does not give me any money. I have to beg him money to buy food for our baby. Every woman would like to go to the market on weekends, but he does not give me enough money to go. He drives taxi and everyday he complains that the taxi is not making any money. People tell me he has women and they are getting the little money that I should get. I stop begging him for money and he suspects that I am selling myself. But he drove me to do what I am doing now.

I have a little guy who is taking care of me. Every week he gives me $5,000. It is small but my babyfather is not giving me anything. I felt ashamed when I had sex with this guy the first evening. I am twice his age. He is only 21 and I am 42. But I am having sex with him because of 'wants'. The first time we had sex, I went down to the river and he met me there. I make sure now that I keep the condoms in a safe place. Don't condemn me, Pastor. My child's father has driven me to it.

I know this guy's mother. I know she would hate me for having sex with her son. But I need the money. Don't condemn me, please Pastor.

I am not going to condemn you. But I would encourage you to try and get yourself a job and support yourself. Don't continue to have an intimate relationship with this young fellow. You can never know if this taxi man will find out and set a trap for you. You should not remain in his house and have sex with another man. So, please try and get yourself a job and support yourself.
