I have the worst luck with men

Dear Pastor,

I am 27 and I have three children with three different men. After I had my second child, I met a taxi man. He said he knew my folks.

I decided that I would take a chance with him. I told my parents about him and my father told me to be very careful because he was not from a good family. I went out on a date with him and he coaxed me to have sex without a condom. When I did not see my period, I knew that something was wrong. I told him that I missed my period and I was sorry I did because otherwise, I would have secretly had an abortion.

My mother encouraged me to have the child. While I was pregnant with the third child, I saw my first child's father and he told me that he got married and was living in America. We exchanged phone numbers. He started to support his child. Every two weeks he would send me money for the child. My second child's father doesn't help me at all and my father told me not to take any man to court for child support. He said he would work his farm and help me. I have a lovely baby girl for this third man and because I refused to go to his house and wash his clothes, he started to pull away from me. I told him I am not his helper.

He said that he preferred if I gave him the child and his mother would take care of her. I have held on to my daughter and my parents and siblings help me with the children.

I told my first child's father that since he left me, everything has gone wrong for me. Sometimes we talk on the phone for a long time. It looked as if we had just got to know each other. One day he said that he was going to come back to Jamaica and marry me because his marriage in America was not working out. I told him that he was crazy but he continues to say it. I don't know how to believe him, but anything I ask him for, he sends for me.

He came to Jamaica recently and he brought me an engagement ring. I spent two nights with him at his hotel and it was like love all over again. I made sure that we used protection. He said I did not feel like a woman who has three children. He has his green card but he is not yet a citizen. When he becomes one, he says he will marry me and take me to America. He is seven years my senior. He blames himself for what has happened to me because if he had stayed around and helped me, I would not have had two other children.

He told me how he got to America and how things were hard with him and he married this American girl and she treated him like a dog. I would like to marry him but I am afraid. So give me your advice.
