Soldier arrested for his father's murder

A soldier has been arrested in Manchester for the murder of his father.
The soldier, who is a private in the Jamaica Defence Force (JDF), was arrested by the Manchester Police on Friday.
Superintendent Wayne Cameron, the commanding officer for the Manchester Police Division, said the private was arrested in Battersea in the parish.
The soldier is believed to have murdered his father in Papine, St Andrew, on Wednesday after which he fled to Manchester.
