The St. Ann police have charged two men with house breaking and larceny after being caught breaking into a supermarket in the parish on Monday.

The accused are 25-year-old Timar Watson, a mechanic and 42-year-old Richard Jennie, construction worker both of Montego Bay, St James.

Reports from the Brown's Town police are that about 7:00 p.m., the complainant securely locked his establishment and went home.

Later that night he was alerted by the security camera system and allegedly saw two men inside his supermarket.

The men reportedly entered the supermarket by forcefully opening a grill to the rear of the building, then using a sledgehammer to dig a hole in the wall.

The police were contacted and both men were accosted and taken into custody.

They were subsequently charged.

Their court dates are yet to be finalised.
