Janitor charged with pulling gun on woman during argument

Cops attached to the Kingston West Policing Division charged a 34-year-old janitor on Monday for brandishing an illegal firearm on a woman during an argument.

Javon Pusey of Upper Oxford Street in Kingston is charged with possession of prohibited weapon and assault at common law.

The Denham Town police report that about 2:10 p.m. on March 7, Pusey and the woman got into an altercation.

During which he pulled a firearm from his waistband and pointed it at her.

A report was made to the police leading to the subsequent arrest of Pusey.

He was charged on Monday following the complainant's statement.

His court date is being finalised.
