Police probing shooting and injuring of saleswoman and truck driver

An investigation has been launched by the police into a shooting that left a truck driver and saleswoman injured in Victoria Town, Manchester Wednesday night.

Reports say that about 7:15 p.m., occupants of a traveling in a Toyota Axio motorcar allegedly pulled out firearms and shot at the victims.

They were taken to hospital where they were admitted for gunshot wounds.

No motive has been established in the incident.

The Mandeville Criminal Investigations Branch is conducting a probe of the matter.
