Digicel working to resolve data disruption issue

Telecommunications provider Digicel says it is currently working hard to fix an issue that is preventing its services from reaching its customers.

In a notice on Tuesday morning in which it apologised to customers for the disruption, it explained that the issue was caused by multiple major fibre breaks at the international landing stations.

"Our technical teams are actively working to restore services as quickly as possible," it said.

The company said it would provide updates as it makes progress.
