Brothers injured, one fatally during shooting in St Andrew

The St Andrew South police are searching for the assailants responsible for the drive-by shooting that resulted in the death of a man and the injuring of his brother yesterday.

Dead is Warren Grant otherwise 'Zeeks', 26-year-old of 42 Hill Avenue,Kingston 11.

His 35-year-old brother is hospitalised from gunshot injuries received.

Reports are that about 3:00 p.m., the brothers were at 46 to 50 Cinnaman Crescent in Olympic Gardens, when they were shot and injured during a drive-by shooting along the roadway.

Both were assisted to the Kingston Public Hospital where Warren was pronounced dead and his sibling hospitalised.

No motive has been established in the incident.

The Hunts Bay Criminal Investigation Branch is also probing in the matter.
