Kutti ready for the world

Based on the work that he has been doing on his craft over the years, recording artiste Kutti says the world is now ready to hear his music.

"Seeing that the visa situation has always and will always be the barrier to an artiste reaching out and performing to a wider audience, I waited patiently for mine before I took on the road the right way, and that time has come," said Kutti, who is from Islington, St Mary.

The artiste is signed to recording label Glendevon Records and has already released his first official single under the label. The track, One, was officially released on February 6 and is currently available for sale on all major digital download platforms, such as iTunes and Amazon. The artiste has already been enjoying heavy rotation for the single and is very humbled by the reception.

"I've had the opportunity to travel to and from the UK, and as a young and upcoming artiste, I'm very grateful. I was given the opportunity to record in the UK, and the song is doing extremely well both here in Jamaica and overseas," he added.

BIG PLANS

The artiste says he has big plans and dreams for the rest of the year as a music video for One is in the pipeline and he will also embark on a promotional tour in Europe.

"The experience and support has been overwhelming. Thanks to the support from label mates Tahz, Lil Dainty, Future Kid and prominent producers RB Music and Smoodface. Thanks to all the radio disk jockeys who are supporting my music and some of the major radio stations such as ZIP FM and Sun City Radio. The time is now, and mi ready fi the world," Kutti said.
